Hear What Exhibitors Say
"Moldova is famous for its red wine, fine wine and collection wine, with 80% of farmland covered by grapes and vineyards. This is our first visit to Hong Kong. The fair is wonderful and impressive. All amenities are world-class with easy access to the well-designed exhibition centre. The organiser is open-minded and provides kind and excellent assistance to us. We will make Hong Kong our main partner for business development and we would like to bring some of our wine companies to the fair next year."
Mr Vladislav Railean, CEO & Founder, Association for Wine Export-Development & Promotion, Moldova

"We are here to promote our Tannat wine to international buyers. Tannat wine is a strong red wine made with Tannat grapes that grow under unique environment. Our highlights at the fair are products from four wineries - Filgueira, Bodegas Carrau, Traversa and Juanico. This is a good fair to promote our wines. We find Hong Kong a dynamic city to do business as well as an international hub for wine distribution."
Mr Leonardo Olivera D' Andrea, First Secretary, Embassy of Uruguay in the People's Republic of China, Uruguay

"This is our first-time participation at the fair. We have brought together a total of 32 companies from vineyards across Spain to promote our products including red and white wines, Rosé and sherry. The fair is well organised with good services. It provides a valuable opportunity for us to raise our profile as well as find distributors and buyers."
Mr Ignacio Imaz, Area Manager Wines, Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade, Spain

"We have a total of 30 companies participating in the fair this year. Italian wines have seen continous growth with strong demand from local and overseas wine lovers. Our sparkling wines are particularly in demand. Hong Kong is a world city and this is a truly international wine fair. We can find a large number of buyers from different places such as Japan and the Chinese mainland. The fact that the exhibitor total more than doubles that of last year's is testimony to the exhibition's success."
Mr Romano Baruzzi, Trade Commissioner, Italian Trade Commission, Italy

"We have organised 20 wine companies from France this year. Everything is so nice at the fair from organisation to design of the fairground and booth setup. We are very happy and excited with the exhibition, especially with France as the Partner Country. The Hong Kong fair is an important trade fair and we expect to come again next year with even more participating companies."
Ms Anita Y.S. Ma, General Manager, Sopexa, France

"We are a winemaker with a history of about 20 years in Poland. This is an impressive fair and it is our first time here to promote our products, mainly red wines, and to find quality partners including customers and distributors. We are keen to grow business in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. As a duty free port, Hong Kong serves as a solid platform to introduce our wines to Chinese consumers."
Mr Dawn Y.C. Lim, General Manager, VOYAGER WineClub, Poland

Hear What Buyers Say
"Hong Kong is the place to be for business. The city offers a good platform to grow business in Asia and even worldwide. This fair is very professional and I am pleased to see so many young wine lovers here. Vinomania runs with a unique wine room concept that combines wine tasting with gourmet and wine learning. We offer a selection of French wines in an innovative packaging called Bag-In-Box at our wine bars & restaurants. We will have six such restaurants in operation in France by the end of this year. I am here to find partners in Asia, including Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland to open franchise wine bars & restaurants."
Mr Stéphane Boutiton, Associate, Vinomania, France

"This is my second year participating in the fair. There is an expansion in the variety of wine products on display with new exhibitors from countries like India and Korea. I've found some good Italian products as well as Korean and Hungarian wines. I cannot find a better fair elsewhere in the region."
Mr Gianander Dua, Director, Hops Marketing, India

"Shinanoya is a food and wine retailer with two supermarkets and 10 liquor shops in Japan. I am looking for business partners and suppliers as well as investigating the potential of the Hong Kong wine market. This is a good fair to attend and learn about the market trend. I believe Hong Kong has the potential to become an international hub for wine trading."
Mr Makoto Kikuchi, Chief Buyer & Director of Liquor Department, Shinanoya, Japan
