The wine scene in Asia is sparkling with potential for growth, and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair is the platform that promotes the wine trade. The 9th edition will be held from 10-12 November at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Though Asia is its home ground, the fair is truly international. Buyers will see wines from the classic wine-producing regions of the world as well as exciting new winemakers of non-traditional origins and organic wines. In 2016, more than 1,000 quality international exhibitors will participate the fair. In 2015, the fair attracted over 20,300 visitors from 75 countries and regions to attend.

Taste the wine, meet the winemakers |
Over the course of the fair, buyers can take part in grand tastings, master classes, wine tastings, cocktail demonstrations and seminars. Winemakers and wine experts are on hand to discuss wines and wine markets with buyers. At social functions such as the Gala Wine Dinner there are more opportunities to meet with key industry players.
Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair is the venue for several prestigious events. These include the Wine Industry Conference and the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition.
Creating a wider market for wine is one of the fair’s objectives. The Wine Gallery features a display of wine literature and other wine-related accessories, and the public are invited to visit the fair on its closing day. |
